Collective treatment of the pairing Hamiltonian. Formulation of the model

Abstract

We develop a treatment of the pairing force problem in terms of two collective variables: the intrinsic deformation … and the gauge angle… . The comparison between the results obtained solving the corresponding quantum mechanical Hamiltonian and those obtained by an exact diagonalization shows the adequacy of the present approachDesarrollamos un tratamiento del problema de las fuerzas de apareamiento en términos de dos variables colectivas: la deformación intrínseca... y el ángulo de calibre... . La comparación entre los resultados obtenidos resolviendo el hamiltoniano de mecánica cuántica correspondiente y los obtenidos mediante una diagonalización exacta muestra la adecuación del presente enfoque.
