Resumen
Potassium uranyl vanadate (synthetic anhydrous carnotite) was prepared by melting a mixture of ammonium uranate with twice the stoichiometric amount of potassium vanadate; the technique was fundamentally that proposed by Canneri and Pestelli (1) After cooling, beautiful yellow plates up to 3 mm. long were obtained.
