dc.description.abstractThe thermodynam ic properties of the Mn-V-C system are not known from experiments, and there is a need of information on the stability of the various phases, and the Mn-V-C phase diagram. This kind of information has been obtained by us. Our approach combines the methods of phenomenological modelling and extrapolation from the lower-order systems.
