dc.description.abstractThis article describes an innovative method for the in situ immobilization and identification of diffusible cations in animal (rat liver) and plant (Zea mays and Vicia faba) tissues. The methodological rigor stands out due to the use of combined techniques of conventional electron microscopy and electron probe microanalysis (X-ray microprobe).
