The non existance of the Nb92 isomer

Abstract

A search for an isomer of Nb92 from the Nb93(d, p2n) reaction was made. No evidence of either the already reported 13 hr activity or of a 2.35 MeV y-ray was found. The possibility of the existence of the 2-35 MeV y-ray as well as of the 13 hr activity in other chemically separated fractions formed in the same nuclear reaction is also ruled out.

Se realizó una búsqueda de un isómero de Nb92 a partir de la reacción de Nb93(d, p2n). No se encontraron pruebas de la actividad de 13 h ya notificada ni de un rayo y de 2,35 MeV. También se descarta la posibilidad de la existencia del rayo y de 2-35 MeV así como de la actividad de 13 h en otras fracciones químicamente separadas formadas en la misma reacción nuclear.
