Resumen
The research work carried-out during the last two years, has been devoted, as in previous years, to the study of radiation effects in different biological systems, as well as to developing new techniques which could improve the detection of radiation-induced injury. The employed systems included, microbiological models, insects and mammals, the used techniques varying markedly according to the problems under consideration. For a better methodological arrangement of this biannual report the activities of the Department of Radiobiology have been schematically classified under the following headings: A) Biochemistry B) Immunology, C) Genetics, D) Microbiology, E) Somatic Effects (Oncology) F) Pathology and G) Irradiation and Dosimetry.
