On the linear temperature dependence of the resistivity in the new superconductors

Abstract

We present an elementary proof that, irrespective of dinensionallty, the electrical resistivity of a simple conductor should be linear with temperature, in particular, it has been felt by many researchers that the electrical resistivity in the normal state in some samples is linear over too-wide a range of temperature.
