Laser field effects on the interaction of charged particles with a degenerate electron gas

Abstract

We formulate a general description of the inelastic interaction between charged particles and a degenerate plasma, in the presence of a strong laser field, the excitations in the plasma are described following the RPA formalism, in terms of the dielectric function of the medium, and including the effects of the laser field on the dynamical response.
