Cracks as sink of irradiation created point defects

Abstract

The migration of irradiation produced point defects to a crack under modeI load in hep Mg is studied in this work. Random diffusion processes and the effect of the long-range elastic field o f the crack are considered. A discrete model of the material and a numerical method are used.
