Un método colorimétrico rápido y sencillo de valoración de isoniacida

Abstract

A colorimetric method of isoniazed determination, based in the formation o Fe(CN) 5,(isoniazid) x— in water is described. The complex anion shows an intense absorption centered at 437 nm £ = 3.460 M-^’ cni—1 in the range of concentration studied (2 xx 10— to 2 x 10—“I M ), which follows closely Lambert-Beer’s law. The method is fast and sensitive, and inespecific reductants do not interfere, although in the presence of commonly used excipients the results are 5 % too high. Typical procedure and comparison with official method are presentad.
