Determinación de Uranio y Torio en minerales y soluciones por fluorescencia de rayos X

Abstract

Three methods were studied to analyze uranium and thorium minerals by X Ray fluorescence. Mineral sampleS were fused with bórax, when composition differed widely from one another. When samples were or similar composition good accuracy and a straight calibration lina were obtained by simply pressing the powdered sample inte a pellet. In some cases an internal standard was added. In the same paper a method is described for the analysis of uranium and thorium aqueous solutions by the same principie.
