Resumen
In experiments on the preparation of alkylated and halogenated borazoles, we found that,in Brown and Laubengayer's method for the preparation of BBB-trichloroborazole from ammonium chloride and boron trichloride at elevated tem peratures, the use of very pure ammonium chloride resulted in low yields. Cruder materials, on the other hand, which contained iron salts as the chief impurity, gave better results.
