Renormalization of the pomeron intercept in reggeon field theory on a transverse lattice

Abstract

Using the block spin procedure, the negative renormalization of the pomeron intercept near the critical point is estimated to be 0.03 ∼ 0.05, in agreement with previous evaluation based on the one-loop approximation of the renormalization group functions.
