Resumen
Se encontró una nueva serie del número de masa 108 (110). La vida media del Ru-108 es casi la misma que la del Ru-107 con un valor medio de 4 minutos para ambos. La vida media del Rh-108 es de 18±2 segundos; su energía β máxima es de unos 4,5 MeV. También emite rayos γ de varias energías, por lo que es probable que la energía de desintegración total sea superior a 4,5 MeV. El Ru-107 fue producido por una reacción de Pd-110 (n, α) Ru-107, que confirma el número de masa de la sustancia madre de rodio de 23 minutos como 107. El Rn-107 emite rayos β con una energía máxima de alrededor de 4 MeV y rayos γ también. También se encontró el Rn-105, por una reacción (n, α). Se encontró que la vida media del Rh-107 era de 23 ± 0,5 minutos, siendo su energía β máxima de 1,25 MeV. Los Laboratorios de Espectroscopía Nuclear de la Comisión Nacional de la Energía Atómica encontraron varias líneas y. Una línea de 315 Kev coincide probablemente con las partículas β de 1,25 MeV, por lo que el valor Q total es de aproximadamente 1,5 MeV. A new series of mass number 108 (110) was found. Tlie half life of Ru-108 is nearly the same as that of the Ru-107 with a mean value of 4 minutes for both of them. The half life of Rh-108 is 18±2 seconds; its maximum β energy is about 4,5 MeV .It also emits γ rays of several energies, so that the total disintegration energy is likely to be higher than 4,5 MeV. The Ru-107 was produced by a Pd-110 (n, α) Ru-107 reaction, which confirms the mass number of the mother substance of 23 minutes rhodium as 107. The Rn-107 emits β rays with maximum energy of about 4 MeV and γ rays as well. The Rn-105 was found too, by a (n, α) reaction. The lialf life of Rh-107 was found to be 23 ± 0.5 minutes, its maximum β energy being of 1,25 MeV. The Laboratories of Nuclear Spectroscopy of the Comisión Nacional de la Energía Atómica found several y lines. One line of 315 Kev concides probably with the 1,25 MeV β particles, so that the total Q-value is about 1,5 MeV.
