Resumen
Hair growth in rats and mice is cyclic, cach hair follicle having alternate periods of growth and rest. Furthermorc, the hair follicles develop their activity gradually in waves of hair growth, detined by Chase and Eaton (1959) as "the orderly progression in time and in space in which the follicles begin their growth phase”.
