dc.description.abstractWe consider a system of two hybridized bands (a and c states) in the presence of electron-phonon interaction.We analyze a current debate in the literature concerning the importance of hybrid (a-c) superconducting pairs in the system. We explain the origin of the discrepancies for the case where the energy difference between the bonding and antibonding bands at the Fermi energy is larger than the Debye energy.
