dc.description.abstractThe in-pile stress-relaxation behaviour of the materials usually employed for the elastic structural elements, in nuclear reactors, is critically reviewed and the results are compared with those obtained in commercial zirconium alloys irradiated under similar conditions. Finally, it is shown that, under certain conditions, some zirconium alloys maybe used as an alternative material forthes estructural elements.
