Resumen
The substructures formed when dynamic recovery is occurring at high temperatures are considered in detail. The effects of changes in strain rate, temperature and solute concentration are discussed. The influence of substructure formation on the high temperature flow curve is examined and the characteristics of room temperature and elevated temperature flow are compared. Flow curves obtained under conditions of dynamic recrystallization are presented and contrasted to recovery flow curves. The factors affecting the critical strain for dynamic recrystallization are introduced and the microstructural changes following the initiation of recrystallization are described.
