dc.description.abstractIodine ameliorates Graves disease symptoms and reduces goiter size. Many authors have analyzed the action of iodine on different thyroid parameters. and their results have been the subject of several recent reviews (1-3). We have been interested. during the last decade. in the study of the mechanism of action of iodine on thyroid growth and related biochemical parameters.
