dc.description.abstractA scattering experiment was performed on a polycrystalline vanadium sample using a pulsed neutron source. The result shows that the differential cross section of vanadium remains constant for neutron wavelengths up to λ∼-1.7Å, but a rapid increase in the cross section is observed for longer wavelengths in qualitative agreement with a previous evaluation.
