Strategic Plan 2015-2025

Abstract

The Argentine Nuclear Plan is the framework that has enabled projects from the nuclear energy R&D to be developed in such a way that is not through isolated actions by a scientific and technical group but as part of a State policy that lays the strategic importance that nuclear energy has on the social and economic development of Argentina. Therefore, in line with what was aforestated, in 2008, CNEA started planning all of its activities in the long term and established a Strategic Plan to make projections for 10 years. In order to achieve this, it boosted an intense activity of coordination, integration and planning which included -directly and indirectly- all of the directors, professionals, technicians and employees of the Institution. As a corollary of this activity, a flexible and open methodological tool was designed to orient activities and projects daily undertaken at the time that a periodical revision and update of institutional objectives and actions are possible within the Argentine Nuclear Plan.
