dc.description.abstractA practical, high-efficiency experimental method is presented for the fabrication of extremely thin, self-supporting metal foils or sheets (without a backing or auxiliary support mesh) made of silver (Ag), gold (Au), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), and tin (Sn), achieving thicknesses as low as 8 micrograms/cm² (76 Å for Ag).
