Se propuso una variante en la técnica de Venturini y otros para la estimación de la densidad de ujo instantáneo de calor latente ET en escala regional basada únicamente en percepción remota, introduciendo una nueva expresión para el calculo de la evapotranspiración relativa. Se efectuó una discusión del significado físico de las variables intervinientes y la validez de las expresiones propuestas para su calculo. Se estimaron por primera vez mapas de ET en la Provincia de Buenos Aires, en varios días de verano. Se comprobó que las variaciones espaciales obtenidas de dicha variable presentan una relación adecuada con los valores de temperatura de superficie y NDVI obtenidos de los productos MODIS. Se comprobó estadísticamente que al reemplazar los valores de temperaturas del aire y de punto de roció en superficie por datos en 1000hPa del producto MODIS se introducen errores significativos. Los valores obtenidos de albedo, radiación entrante de onda corta, radiación entrante y saliente de onda larga, ujo de calor en el suelo, y ujo instantáneo de calor latente de vaporización, están en los rangos esperados de acuerdo con mediciones y estimaciones hechas por otros autores en localidades de la región de estudio y en otras regiones.
A variant was proposed in the technique of Venturini and others for the estimation of the density of instantaneous latent heat ux in regional scale based only on remote sensing, by introducing a new expression for the calculation of the relative evapotranspiration. A discussion of the physical meaning of the variables involved and the validity of expressions proposed for its calculation was carried out. Maps of ET in the province of Buenos Aires were estimated for the first time, in several days of summer. It was found that obtained spatial variations of ET present a proper relationship with the surface temperature and NDVI values obtained from MODIS products. It was proved as per statistics that, on having replaced the values of air and dew point temperatures at the surface by information in 1000hPa of the MODIS products, significant errors interfere. The obtained values of albedo, incoming shortwave radiation, incoming and outgoing long-wave radiation, and instantaneous ux of latent heat of vaporization, are within the range expected in accordance with measurements and estimates made by other authors in locations interior to the study region and in other regions.
