Current status of the QUBIC experiment

Abstract

The Q & U Bolometric Interferometer for Cosmology (QUBIC) is an experiment to measure theprimordial B modes polarization of the cosmic microwave background (CMB), that will be installed in AltoChorrillos, province of Salta, Argentina. The detection of the primordial B modes has not been achieved yet, notonly because it is an extremely faint signal, but also because of contamination by foregrounds that emit at thesame frequencies, most noticeably the galactic thermal dust emission. In this work, we summarize the currentstatus of the QUBIC experiment.
