Progress Report 1978-1978

Abstract

This Progress Report brin's together for the first time the contributions of both the Nuclear and Solid State Physics Divisions. While this change implies a larger and perhaps less convenient format, we regard it as a positive additional step in promoting the unity of the local physics community, a policy which we find important to pursue. Given the contribution of our Department to the total effort carried out in physical research in the country, this policy has proven to be relevant well beyond CNEA’s boundaries.
