dc.description.abstractWe have measured the energy distributions of Ne autoionization electrons produce in collisions of 0.5 -3 keV Ne+ ions with A1 surfaces. We have found a strong broadning and a weak energy shift of the lines with increasing projectile energy. We have also identified the autoionization transitions leading to these lines.
