Técnicas de prospección uranífera aplicadas en la República Argentina

Abstract

Se describen las técnicas e instrumental de prospección aplicadas en la Argentina para la búsqueda de yacimientos uraníferos, indicándose su evolución hasta llegar a las actuales. Se indican resultados obtenidos, costos operativos, etc., para prospección radimétrica aérea, radimetría autotransportada y terrestre, prospección geoquímica y emanométrica, citándose también los estudios de geoeléctrica.

The present paper is a brief description of the methods and instruments used in the Argentine Atomic Energy Commision (CNEA) to search uraniferous deposits, indicating their evolution up to present techniques employed by the prospection groups appartaining to the Mineral Resources Department. Also there is summarily indicated the results obtained, the operating costs, etc. fox airbome, car and by foot radiometric prospection; likewise the geochemical and emanometric exploration and some references to geoelectrical studies undertaken by the prospection groups of the CNEA.
