Ítem Acceso Abierto Automatic analysis of gamma-ray spectra on small computers(Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica. Departamento de Física Nuclear. Gerencia de Investigaciones (Argentina), 1973) Achterberg, Erhard O. J.; Iglesias, C.; Jech, Alberto Estanislao; Moragues, Jaime Baudilio A.; Pérez, M.; Rossi, J. J.; Scheuer, W.; Suarez, J. F.A program for the automatic analysis of Ge (Ll) gamma-ray spectra is described. Owing to its reduced size it can be used on small (at least 16 K memory words of 16 bits) computers. For the design of the program, the steps of manual methods of analysis have been followed as closely as possible. Most of the subroutines are written in Fortran II language.Ítem Acceso Abierto Concentrador fijo a espejo facetado de la CNEA. Se calcula el aumento de las pérdidas debido al espesor del vidrio sobre el espejado.Ítem Acceso Abierto Conversion electrons in the decay of Ag 106m and Pd 106(North Holland Publishing, 1964) Scheuer, W.; Suter,Tito; Reyes-Suter, P.The internal conversion spectrum in the decay of Ag 106m to Pd 106 was obtained by means of an iron yoke double focussing spectrometer. Transitions of the following energies were determined with an accuracy of about 5 × 10 -4 : 195.0, 221.5, 228.5, 328.3,390.9, 406.0, 429.5, 450.8, 474.2, 511.8, 600.9, 616.1, 680.3, 703.3, 716.2, 717.1, 748.3, 792.8, 803.9, 807.5, 824.5, 847.5, 1045.7, 1127.8, 1199.1 and 1222.8 keV.Ítem Acceso Abierto Energy levels of Ru 101 fed in the electron capture decay Rh 101m(North Holland Publishing, 1966) Yuthman de Aisenberg, E.; Suarez, J. F.; Scheuer, W.Gamma-gamma coincidences and internal conversion electrons observed in the decay of 101m Rh(Tx = 4.5 d) allow the establishment of transitions with energies (in keV): 127.08=[=0.08 (0.4±0.1), 182±2 (0.4±0.1), 232~7 (0.4±0.1), 234±5 (0.7~0.3), 306.79 ~ 0.07 (100), 359±7 (~ 0.4) and 541 ±5 (6±1). A level sequence of energies, 0, 127, 307, 359 and 541 keV with characterJstics ~+, ~+, ~ 7+, (.z, 3 ~) 5 and (.~, ~), respectively, is proposed. Two electron capture branches from the (9+) isomeric state of 101 Rh to the 307 keV and 541 keV levels, respectively, are consistent with the scheme. The isomeric transition of energy 157.26±0.03 keV has a K/L/M ratio of 100/31/8. In the decay of 101 Rh(~ 5 y) two transitions of energies 127.09±0.09 and 197.9~0.2 were detected.Ítem Acceso Abierto Nuclear spectroscopy of iodine isotopes with A>134(European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), 1970) Achterberg, Erhard O. J.; De Aisenberg, E. Y.; Iglesias, F. C.; Jech, Alberto Estanislao; Moragues, Jaime Baudilio A.; Otero, D.; Pérez, M. L.; Proto-Otero, A. N.; Rossi, J. J.; Scheuer, W.; Suárez, J. F.During our exploration of the heavy fission peak o£ 235U in search of iodine isotopes at the Buenos Aires ISOL xx) we were able to record significant activity from mass numbers 134, 135 and 136.The available information for I34i at that time 1)2)3)4) included the observation by Erten and Coryell 1) of a 273 keV gamma ray with a half-life of 3.8 +0.5 min, and we decided to investígate the nature of this transition and of the associated isomeric state. Erten and Coryell had concluded that this isomeric level belonged to the I level scheme on the basis of their observations of the growth and decay of the activity due to low-lying transitions in 134Xe. Once our measurements had started, Erten, Coryell and Walters 5) suggested that the 273 keV ray itself belonged to I and that it was the transition which depopulated the isomeric level.Ítem Acceso Abierto On line separation of short-lived iodine isotopes(Herausgeber: H. Wagner, W. Walcher. Physikalisches Instituí der Universitat Marburg, 1970) Achterberg, Erhard O. J.; De Aisenberg, E. Y.; Iglesias, F. C.; Jech, Alberto Estanislao; Moragues, Jaime Baudilio A.; Otero, O.; Pérez, K .L.; Proto-Otero, A. N.; Rossi, J. J.; Scheuer, W.; Suárez, J. F.The Buenos Aires ISOL set-up was designed primarily to study short lived fission products, if possible without being restricted to gases, i. e. Kr and Xe, but having also a reasonable chance to detect non-gaseous but volatile elements, such as Br and I. To this end the following design was adopted: a) a fission-product generating system coupled through a short ( 50 cm) transport line to b) an electromagnetic mass separator o£ high resolving power and efficiency, with double focussing, which delivers the mass to be studied to c) the- collecting device with its detection system, which includes a moving-tape collector and Ge(Li) and Si(Li) detectors.Ítem Acceso Abierto Systematics of the Ground State Rotational Band in Even-Even Nuclei with 158 <182 and A >230(Naciones Unidas, 1958) Scheuer, W.; Aisenberg, E.A great amount of work dealing with the systematization of the properties of the excited states of even-even nuclei has been done up to the present.
